Reputation Australia announces merger with Kennedy Communications

Sydney, March 9th, 2010 - Reputation Australia and Kennedy Communications have joined forces, creating an organisation that provides an end-to-end communication skills solution.  The merged organisation now offers an extended range of communication skills training programs including media training, presentation skills, writing for business, PR Strategy, Crisis Communication Planning and engagement with social media online.  The company also provides video and audio production for online and offline content as well as consultancy services in media relations and online Public Relations.

Reputation Australia Managing Director Steve Cropper, said the merger represents a major step forward for the company, as it creates one of Australia's largest boutique communication skills training consultancies.

 "The newly-expanded Reputation Australia includes seasoned PR professionals, accomplished journalists, online marketing experts and televisional professionals.   This equips us to provide clients with a multi-faceted service aimed at increasing the personal communication skills of their key people, adding value to their PR though growing an online presence and delivering audio and video content designed specifically for the purpose”, Mr Cropper said.

Added to the consultancy line-up at Reputation Australia are Daily Telegraph Sub-Editor Sean McNamara, PR consultant and master trainer Carol Moore, former IBM General Manager Alex Smith, online business publisher Alex Harris and online marketing specialists Andrew Peters and John Bates.

As part of the company's expansion into online and offline video production, Reputation Australia has engaged Chris Young, a leading TV director from the UK and technical consultant to Sony's television production division.  Chris has directed and produced a broad range of television programs such as BBC News, various TV programs in Australia and more recently, Fox Sports Football.  He has also produced countless corporate and training videos for clients such as the Royal Australian Navy, the Institute of Chartered Accountants and many others.

The company has a global network of online and offline communication experts through its strategic partnership with Publicis Consultants.

Patrick Kennedy, founder of Kennedy Communications is a well-known media training veteran with a background in health, government and politics.  He remains with the business as Senior Counsel to the expanded company.
